RG Justice arrives this month!

Not long after the release of the RG Freedom, Justice was announced by now this isnt news. ODU is after all not a product release blog its a blog expressing our interest in products that are coming soon with our own opinions and thoughts.

I've always liked the concept of Freedom and Justice complementing each other Athrun and Kira make good partners on par with Lelouch and Suzaku from Code Geass. Anyhow back on topic the product is about to roll out!!

From the first RG release I loved how the box art present a close up of the head, its pretty neat I hope that they continue releasing RG box art like this! and for the product its got my Facebook style like too! I'm sure Kenji would buy this one!

Gundam Metal Arms Keychain Collection

I was looking through Cyber Gundam which was showcasing various new shiny toys within their post in regard to the August edition of Hobby Japan, Its surprising that just one tiny pic would catch my attention!

Oresenting the Metal Arms series coming in July! I quite like what they have on offer so far they have

1. The beam rifle and shield of the original Gundam
2. The beam magnum and shield of Unicorn Gundam
3. the shields used by the Zaku (normal and Char custom)

It'd be great if instead of two shields they had a heat hawk instead! I think I might get this set!

Supanova 2012

After the roaring success of last years Supanova I battled through the rain last weekend to attend this years event! I found that this year had less cosplayers however it was much sexier there were so many slave Leia's there! Counting on the top of my head at least nine! I can not believe my failure this  time I bought my camera but........... I left the battery at home fortunately there is still the camera on my phone!
This year also had more quality stores however being a seasoned anime goods buyer now I dont rush to buy each and everything I like any more but there were items that did catch my eye like the Sideshow Iron Man helmet set

The stands also involved some intense brick art!

LOL whoever decided to dress Lelouch in a Willy Wonka style suit has got some serious issues, it looks kinda creepy :P Whatever they were smoking I want some.... The Kallen looks hot though.

I just bought myself one of these! Chrome surfaces 8gb and flashing LED eyes! Iron Man awesomeness!

Kotobukiya Bishoujyou Asuka Kazama

Tekken is up there with Street fighter a clear pioneer in the fighting game genre. My brother is an absolute Tekken nut with a pending release of his favourite character I'm sure this one will get him good! I originally had this slated as a birthday gift but unfortunately it wont arrive till August! I guees you will need to wait bro!

Riobot Vs Revoltech- Gurren Lagann

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is one of my favourite animes. This is probably the first time I came across a company releasing the same thing in such a short time frame. The Revoltech will be ready by June and the Riobot in July.... So which one will I be parting my money with? Based on the prerelease photos and information here are the two products.

The Revoltech seems to have less inclusions but I find the addition of the core drill to be very neat! However I am all in for the Riobot the details, colours and inclusions are a notch higher than the Revoltech and Im totally for all the drill bits and little inclusions! However based on price alone the Riobot is more than three times more expensive than the Revoltech so I'd expect that kind of detail!

The Revoltech will cost 2980 Yen (June release) and the Riobot will cost 9800 Yen (July release)
