Lego Collectors Edition R2D2

Okay one item from the wish list ticked off! It was quite a challenge to stack 2000+ lego pieces in five days, man it was fun! Without further delay time for the pics.

The head moves, and the coolest feature I have to say is the lever mechanism to release the front wheel

 

The kit also includes the buzz saw, aircraft docking modules and computer interfacing tool. I also like the plaque with the regular Lego R2D2 figure

 

 

The hardest bits to build were the legs. They were a nightmare that took me the bulk of yesterday. The head was also pretty challenging. The final result I must say it looks amazing. The kit is MASSIVE so before buying make sure you got some extra space!
