As mentioned before SAO is the only anime I'm watching at the moment the latest instalment was awesome. How did they squeeze so many epic moments in less than 25 min? This pose means business! Makes me wonder how Kirito would get up the World Tree (Yggdrasil depending on which fansub group you prefer).

Interesting feature on the MG Katoki Nu Gundam

They seem to have developed an early full body psychoframe on the new Katoki release. noticeably green to emulate the glow emitted by the Nu Gundam when it was pushing Axis back from a path of destruction. This feature is quite innovative and fresh. The kit overall is an impressive feat it is a full rework not a mere reissue! It is definitely worth getting now!

Lego Collectors Edition R2D2

Okay one item from the wish list ticked off! It was quite a challenge to stack 2000+ lego pieces in five days, man it was fun! Without further delay time for the pics.

The head moves, and the coolest feature I have to say is the lever mechanism to release the front wheel

 

The kit also includes the buzz saw, aircraft docking modules and computer interfacing tool. I also like the plaque with the regular Lego R2D2 figure

 

 

The hardest bits to build were the legs. They were a nightmare that took me the bulk of yesterday. The head was also pretty challenging. The final result I must say it looks amazing. The kit is MASSIVE so before buying make sure you got some extra space!

Happy Snaps- Bond James Bond

Very timely since the newest James Bond film Skyfall will be released soon! So apparently its the fiftieth James Bond anniversary this year. Swarovski have a collection although not much of the products were aimed at the male market but those Golden Gun cufflinks are sheer class!

Hot Toys Coulson

 

Agent Phil Coulson provides much of the humour in the Marvel movie series. He is a character worthy for a Hot Toys rendition along with the titular heavy weights. The details on the Phase 2 weapon (Named Coulson's Revenge in the Facebook game Avengers Alliance) are crazy.Without a doubt the package includes Coulson's vintage, near mint, slight foxing around the edges Captain America trading cards.

Seed Destiny HD

Hot off the heels of the finalised HD remaster of Gundam Seed it's sequel is on its way, LOL which version of the fifty million variations will they show? However I am not complaining about the prospect of seeing Strike Freedom in HD!

Sword Art Online!!!

Technically speaking this should fall under Happy Snaps. Kinokuniya had Sword Art Online posters everywhere promoting the light novel series to tie in with the series which began its broadcasting run this July. Since this is an anime I am currently watching I think I may as well share how much I love this series. I was introduced to this title by Kenji along with Dakara Boku wa H Dekinai. It didn't take me long to get hooked it easily gets the best this year!

The Hot Toy's tumbler in an impressive 1/6 scale its large enough to fit the 1/6 Hot Toys Dark Knight. Some might remember the shots that I posted a "century" ago in the original production run! This is available at Games Infinity for $1000! It's sexy but can I justify it....

Dear Valued Reader,

When Kenji and I first came up with the idea of starting ODU, never in my wildest dreams did I think that we would reach the 30000 mark! This has been made possible by our passion for what we love doing most. We faced some rough times in the early stages to find traffic. However we came up with ideas to get better (and picked up Miku along the way).

Some time in this journey we may have lost some focus but three years on and 320 posts later I think we have made good progress and growth! As the main blog master of this blog I, Hiroki would say we loved every moment of delivering you our take on fresh news within the pop culture industry!

Apart from being ridiculously expensive Metal Build has caught my attention since their first release! So the newest off the line is the Exia with parts to turn it into R2 as well and a series of odd accesories once again nice figure.... I so need to eat my words when I once said there's no such thing as a hot Gundam figure.

RG 1:1 Zaku yes please....

 

Although this is a part of promotion for a new game that's about to be released soon I do believe that a Zaku will be created soon!There's nothing Bandai won't do in order to make money..... LOL it looks like they are holding hands!
