Hi guys what many of you may not know is that both Hiroki and I were eager to review this movie but since Hiroki announced Iron Man 2 he was nice enough to let me review it and finally after trying to watch this movie twice I was able to watch it, and have to say it was a good movie with a few interesting action packed scenes. Now before I go on please continue reading if you don't mind spoilers

In this movie Tony Stark aka Iron man deals with the government who insist that he hand over Iron man to them as it is considered a weapon and a potential threat to the country, yet in a public enquiry Tony humiliates the government and his rival by showing everyone footage of their failed attempts at copying iron man. which leads to a power struggle between the government and Tony who refuses to give up Iron man.

Yet what no one except Tony knows, is that the thing keeping him alive is also the thing which will lead to his death with in the year, this leads to him on a path to destruction.
Even though I loved the actions scenes I would have to say that the 1st movie was still better and this movie wasn't able to live up to the 1st. Since the movie was more about Tony's inner turmoil and it seemed that the movie followed the same old story where hero is dieing then decides to go on a destructive path and then behold he is cured so he kills all the baddies.
Overall I would say that it was entertaining but not a movie I would want to watch at the movies again and would not recommend others who decide to watch it, to expect it to be as good as the 1st, since you may be disappointed.

Conversation over different mediums

Chels and I have been having a normal chat during the course of our work day but the catch is we are doing it with different mediums so each reply is presented in different mediums, so this is my reply,

Awww what do you mean by friends? You're not a couple any more?

1/144 Real Grades

I've been closely monitoring the development of the Real Grade series since it was announced. The developments have truly impressed me. the level of detail is like insane! I was always tossing and turning about getting the Gundam the kit itself was impressive but as soon as I saw the box art I'm close to 80% sold now! Chances are that the head shot is actually a shot of the 1:1 RG!

So anyway if that wasn't enough to get me convinced. They had to announce the next development.... A S Type Zaku II with a red overlay can only mean its Char Aznable's Zaku! Now posing Char Zaku and Gundam together would be awesome. I can feel the rivalry already!

I want to be in Japan around July/August!

Hi everybody I've been so busy totally neglected this blog of ours! Sorry ODU and also to our readers! Okay there isn't a time than July/August that I want to go to Japan. Why? Because of all these awesome 1:1 statues that will be on display then!

First off we have the return of the RG 1:1 Gundam with its Mt Fuji backdrop and classy new beam saber pose!

Secondly is something just as epic. So huge that all you see is it's chest and head! Appearing at Fuji Q Amusement Park is the all new 1:1 Evangelion Unit One bust! It would be available for public exhibition in late July. The display also includes an entry plug hatch where fans can take photos at the cockpit for a small fee!

Lucky Star Street Fighter style!!

The brain cell killing cast of Lucky Star are at it again earlier on we had instances where they cosplayed as the Macross Frontier cast now they are back as Street Figther characters in this new collection by Nendroid

Konata as Charlie
Miyuki as Crimson Viper
Kagami as Ryu
Tsukasa as Ken

Once again I think Miyuki is the best dressed. The Sheryl Nome cosplay figure was the best out of that collection and easily the Crimson Viper is the best in this one!

Gundam figures not models!

It wasn't until a while back when the best gundam goods were models. Figures were disgustingly plain or the highly detail resin kits by default are more challenging than official release Gunpla models. In the last two years a massive improvement has been seen on the market. Previously I wouldn't have even cast a thought of buying a Gundam figure now I'm starting to think otherwise.

GFFN Full Armour Unicorn- This is a hot figure, its decked to the teeth with weaponary and the unique green psychoframe colour is pretty cool! If it didn't have those propulsion units akin to the Hi-Nu and Nightingale I think I'd like it more though!

Formania Sazabi Bust- As all profiting sculpting companies will do. If their range includes Nu Gundam there must be Sazabi! Formania put so many details in there sculpting that you would start to think that there is an Anaheim Electronics out there in space!  Formania caught my attention with their Nu Gundam bust I think I would had got it if it had Fin Funnels in mid construction. Seems like Formania listened to the fans and put Sazabi's funnel backpack into their sculpt. With this amount of detail I think Ban Dai would be scared if Formania decided to make models like gunpla!
