Dissidia 012 is a MUST GET!!! Lightning FTW!

Although i loved the original Dissidia I didnt think I would get 012 but the very thought of using Lightning and being able to transfer game saves over from the original Dissidia has made me reconsider!

Gundam 00 Qan[T] Quantum Burst Mode

I realised that the Qan[T] Quantum Burst is regularly searched from our forum statistics. I happened to have the Blu Ray of Trailblazer so here are the shots for our readers! Spoiler ahead

For the dialogue to be complete the following elements were necessary GN Drives, Innovators and Veda.

For the Quantum Burst to be activated Setsuna must activate his Innovator power and pass the eye scan similar to the Transam Burst from the 00 Raiser.

 

The GN Drive in the shield connects with the main drive.

Qan[T] enters into a Transam state then turns green... The Gundam purges multiple armour pieces, the GN Condensors drill outwards  and the Sword Bits form a circle.

PG Strike Freedom WIP- Head

The monster project has begun!! From now to its completion I will document the construction phases of my biggest Gundam challenge to date. Today we will be talking about the head. I was sceptical that this kit will be an oversized MG but when I started building it I saw the light. The head took me two sessions to complete. First of all what made this kit more difficult than the others was I have done many Strike Freedoms in the past, how can I avoid the best one looking like the others?

First off my paint skills were better now since then so I can play with more paint options this kits finish will be darker than the original colours but treated with a slight pearl finish before applying on a flat top coat. This gives the kit a dominant matte finish whilst on close examination it has a metal like appearance.

As per the frame it would be repainted in a a nice gold, after all it is Freedom we are talking about here bring out the bling bling!

Composite Version Ka Shinkirou

Not long after the Lancelot Albion which was released last year a succession of Composite Version Ka models have been released. Now Katoki sensei is ready to reveal his next project. This time we revisit the world of Code Geass the figure confirmed by Dengeki Hobby that is to be released is none other than, Shinkirou. Emperor Lelouch's personal Knightmare Frame.

Details for this figure are still very obscure at the moment but I'm sure that releases and product samples will be on the internet soon. This announcement also reunites hope of seeing a Composite Version Ka Gurren Seiten Hakoushiki (fingers crossed).

RG Number Three has been announced it is..... Strike!!!

I stumbled across this when I was taking a break at work. Wow talk about pleasant surprise to date I have bought two RG models and this is a very contestable third! This one surely wouldnt be short of gimmicks I'm pretty sure that this kit will have some pretty cool gimmicks akin to the PG and MG releases i.e. opening shoulder armour and armour schneider covers. If this kit has the Blast and Sword packs as well I am as good as sold! This kit has been confirmed as an April release.

Hello Wadies and Gentwlemen! HAHAHA there goes my Francis impression. I'd like to dedicate this one to Catcat who generously gave me this kit the PG Strike Freedom! This is the unboxing... hmmmm lots and lots and lots of parts I dont know where to start but im sure this is going to be crazy!!!

This is  is a Hong Kong Edition tthe model comes with an additional mirror base with spotlights man that thing is huge you can comfortably put two MG models onto it and pose them!



PSP Another Century Episode Portable Review

I started playing Another Century Episode Portable apart from being able to use the machines I love I dont see this game in a very good light. In contrast to Episode R for the PS3 it fails something bad. The in game visuals and even the entry video were extremely grainy in contrast with Gundam vs Gundam Next Plus it fails miserably.

As I can tell for the time being this game lacks story elements which I found enjoyable from Episode R. The game operates on a grid system where there a mini missions available for the player to get ace points to upgrade their machines. I dont think that I will actually continue playing this one but have no fret... Episode R is still in progress! The next game I will look at is the new Super Robot Wars!

Nintendo 3DS.... Its a trap!!!

Ooooh apart from Mario for Catcat I think that the 3DS has something I cant say no to... Gundam The 3D Battle. The line up seems to be set between 0079 through to Char's Counterattack. Man this is hectic Nu Gundam and Sazabi duking it out on 3D not thats enough of an incentive to preorder it this minute! So far not much is know about this game but it is foretold that it will be a hit! I can't wait till March!!!

Not long after the Star Wars lightsaber chop sticks were released Gundam ones are in the pipeline!
These swell utensils have already been released and are selling for a little short of three thousand yen

Fashioned according to the original Gundam's beamsabers they consist of the hilt and a transparent pink "blade".

Hiroki is back!!!

First of all I shall wish each and everyone a happy new year. I thank Kenji and Miku for manning the front in my absence! If you were wondering where I went to, I was how do you say undergoing a fasting session as a sign of thanks when I prayed for my girlfriend's recent graduation. Okay one month later what has Hiroki done?

1. First of all I got my hands on the Gundam 00 movie, the Macross False Songstress movie and the Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi. Im still to watch Haruhi, was disappointed by Trailblazer and absolutely got blown away by the Macross movie!

2. The RG Gundam was completed and the RG Char Zaku is under way.

In my experimentation I have came up with a shade which I call red gun metal the results so far are coming out very well further progress will be posted as soon as I get more of this kit done!

3. The professionally made PG 00 Raiser was finally delivered, I was also given the Robot Daimashi 00Qan[T] for Christmas.

4. The ODU magazine project is finely under way! The editors picks for this month will come from the Feb 2011 issue of Dengeki Hobby!

5. We have enlisted the help of fellow anime fan, Agam to help with the Otakun project that has been put on the back burner for way too long.

We predict 2011 to be an exciting year and that our blog will continue to experience the growh that it has achieved over the last year. Although our statistics may be small we do intend to keep on growing them with our formula of fast and effective information and product images with humourous comments.

We intend to stay committed to our cause which is to bring frequent anime news to the Australian community (and the world) and would like to thank each and every person who visits ODU for their ongoing support as ODU would not be here till now without you!
